WHAT IF I HAVE A SPECIAL HEALTH PROBLEM?
Please notify us before booking your treatment if you have high blood pressure, allergies, other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. All clients will be asked to complete a brief medical questionnaire for the first time, designed with your well being in mind.

MAY A REQUEST A MALE OR FEMALE THERAPIST?
Yes, of course. Whether you choose a person of the same or opposite gender, all of our therapists are trained to drape you discretely over areas of the body not involved with the treatment. At no time would your breast, chest, or buttocks area will be uncovered. 

Please be aware, your behavior is expected to be professional, with good morals and ethics.  WE HAVE A ZERO (0) TOLERANCE POLICY FOR ANY SEXUAL COMMENTS, BEHAVIOR OR INNUENDOS AND ANY SUCH ACTIONS TAKEN BY A CLIENT AGAINST A CLOUD 9 THERAPIST MAY BE REPORTED TO THE AUTHORITIES.


WHAT DO I WEAR DURING MY TREATMENT?
You will be asked to keep your lower undergarment on during the massage. You will be given a sheet to cover before the therapist enters the room. Then you will be wrapped completely, only that area or limb being massaged will be uncovered. We respect and protect your privacy at all times.

WHAT ABOUT MY COMFORT?
This is your time and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it's the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music, just tell us.

WHAT ABOUT MY JEWELRY AND VALUABLES?
It is best you leave them at home and do not wear any jewelry. You do not have to take off body pierced jewelry. Cloud 9 Therapeutic Massage Corp does not assume any liabilities for personal items. You will be given a cloud 9 bag to put your personal belongings and remember to empty it before you leave.

IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE?
You must be at least 21 years of age. A child must come with parent or legal guardian and can stay in the room for the duration of the massage.

WHAT IF I AM LATE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
We request that you arrive early (5 to 10 minutes) for your appointment.  In order for us to uphold our professional standards of being 'on time', we regret that we cannot give you additional time if you arrive late for your appointment.  If for any reason we are late starting your appointment, you will receive the full scheduled time.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?
Our time together is important. Unless there is an emergency, we request that you cancel your appointment 8 hours in advance or pay the missed appointment fee in full. Please keep in mind that the therapist will be there only for you. Also, by giving full notice, another needy client can be scheduled in your place. If you don't show up without calling for two incidents, then we have the right not to schedule future appointments. 

WHAT ABOUT PAYMENT FOR SERVICES?
We accept traveler’s checks, personal checks, cash as well as all major credit cards.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
Yes we do. 
Depending upon your insurance carrier, you could be eligible for a 15% or 20% discount off your therapeutic massage at Cloud 9.  With some policies your massage would cost $45.00. And you may be eligible for 100% coverage with some insurance policies if your massage is medically necessary*.

HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
We suggest you call with at least two days in advance, so that the appropriate therapist can be scheduled. Please keep in mind special holidays; you may have to call one to two weeks in advance for appointments. It is best you make your next appointment at the time of your massage. WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?
All hours are by appointment Monday through Friday 10am to 7pm and on Saturday 9am to 4pm.

IS IT CUSTOMARY TO TIP FOR A RELAXATION MASSAGE?
Tips are not included in the cost of any therapy or treatment and are sincerely appreciated. All massage/treatments are subject to change without notice.

DO YOU HAVE SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS?
We have special cushions for pregnant ladies, as well as men with enlarged abdomens.

DO YOU TRAVEL TO A CLIENT’S HOME OR OFFICE FOR INDIVIDUAL MASSAGE SESSIONS?
Yes we do. There is a $30 traveling fee added to cost of the service you request.

CAN YOU BRING MASSAGE THERAPY TO THE WORKPLACE?
Yes we can!
On-site seated massage is a short massage which:

  • Comes to your workplace, promotional event, family gathering, employee picnic, conventions, and special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries.

  • Is given by a professional uniformed massage practitioner.

  •  Lasts from 5 to 30 minutes, uses no oil, and takes place with the employee fully clothed.  Maximum of 7 employees per hour.  Keep in mind turn over and clean up takes about 2 minutes per employee. 

  • Usually covers the head, neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands and can be adapted to special needs.
  • Leaves employees feeling relaxed, refreshed and ready to return to work.

A portable massage chair, designed for comfort and support, is often used.  It is supplied by the massage practitioner and can be set up and dismantled quickly in almost any location. Click here for more...
